How do I stop time?

Prop your phone on something steady, tap record, step into frame and snap your fingers. The world freezes while you keep moving. Snap again to restart time. Prefer not to snap? Switch the trigger to Tap, which freezes when you tap the screen, or Timer, which freezes at 4 seconds and resumes at 8 seconds with beeps.

My snap was not heard

Snap close to the phone, in a quiet spot. You can also use the Tap or Timer trigger. If a clip is already recorded, open it in the editor and drag the freeze bands to the moments you want.

Someone else stayed live

In the editor, tap Who stays live and pick yourself. Worldstill then freezes everyone else.

The frozen world wobbles

Keep the phone still, or prop it up. Worldstill smooths out small hand shake, but it cannot fix a phone that is walking or circling around you.

I want a clean background

Step out of frame at the start or the end of your clip. Worldstill fills in the space behind you from the moments you were not standing there. If it needs more, it suggests stepping out of frame at the end for a cleaner freeze.

Can I try it without filming?

Yes. On the camera screen, tap Try the sample. It opens a real example clip in the editor so you can try the looks right away.

Restore purchases

Open Worldstill, tap the gear icon, then tap Restore Purchases. It is also on the Pro screen. Use the same Apple ID you subscribed with.

Cancel the free trial or subscription

Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Worldstill Pro and tap Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends, or it renews automatically. You keep Pro until the period you paid for ends.

Pricing

Freeze is free, with a small watermark. Worldstill Pro unlocks Rewind, Slow-Mo, Gold and Shatter and removes the watermark. There are two plans:

• Weekly: USD 4.99 per week, with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
• Yearly: USD 39.99 per year.

You can preview every Pro look on your own clip before you subscribe. Saving or sharing a Pro look, or removing the watermark, needs Pro. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you subscribe, or when a free trial ends, and subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
